Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup: Preliminary Regatta
From 24 to 27 September 2026, the Gulf of Naples will host the second Louis Vuitton Preliminary Regatta, the first major international racing event connected with the Louis Vuitton 38th America’s Cup.
Over four days, nine AC40 yachts representing leading international teams will compete in the waters of the Gulf, giving the city an opportunity to put the organisational, logistical and operational systems developed for the 2027 event to the test.
During this stage of the competition, the teams will be based in the Nisida area.
The Preliminary Regatta will provide an important opportunity to showcase Naples and its metropolitan area internationally, offering an exciting preview of the sporting spectacle to come the following year.
The Race Village for the second Louis Vuitton Preliminary Regatta will be located along the Lungomare Caracciolo and will be free to enter.
