The experience begins with an introduction from a master pizzaiolo, who shares the fascinating history of Neapolitan pizza, from its humble origins to its international fame. Along the way, discover interesting facts about local ingredients and the secrets of a tradition recognised by UNESCO as Intangible Cultural Heritage of Humanity, through the art of the Neapolitan pizzaiuolo.
Once you've put on your apron, it's time to get your hands in the dough! Under the expert guidance of the master pizzaiolo, participants learn how to combine and knead the ingredients, prepare the dough and shape it correctly. Then it's time to get creative: everyone chooses their own toppings and prepares their very own authentic Neapolitan pizza.
While the pizza bakes in the wood-fired oven, the experience continues with stories, fascinating insights and lively conversations about Neapolitan cuisine and local traditions, all in a friendly, convivial atmosphere.
And finally comes the moment everyone has been waiting for: enjoying a freshly baked pizza made entirely with your own hands!
At the end of the class, each participant receives a “Master Pizzaiolo” certificate to take home as a souvenir of the experience. An apron is also included for the class held in Capodimonte.
An opportunity to experience Naples through one of its most beloved symbols, not simply by tasting its famous pizza, but by learning to make it the traditional way.
