From 25 June to 16 November 2026, Museo Madre presents Living Collapse, the second exhibition of the Premio Meridiana, curated by Samuele Piazza and featuring artists Andrea Bolognino, Effe Minelli and Raffaela Naldi Rossano.
The project reinterprets the Neapolitan nativity scene tradition through the language of contemporary art, taking inspiration from Presepio by Jimmie Durham, a work in the museum's collection.
Through drawings, sculptures and installations, the three artists present new, specially conceived works that engage in dialogue with a traditional nativity scene created by master craftsman Giuseppe Ercolano. Together, they create an exhibition exploring the relationships between construction and ruin, the human and the non-human, order and transformation.
An opportunity to discover how one of the most recognisable symbols of Neapolitan culture can become a means of interpreting the complexities of the contemporary world.
