Sea, mystery and music offer new ways to discover Naples.

This festival invites visitors to experience the city from fresh perspectives: from the waters of the Gulf, from panoramic terraces, through hidden alleyways and lesser-known places, transforming every visit into an immersive journey through history, landscapes, legends and local traditions.

A festival designed to guide residents and visitors alike in discovering Naples through themed itineraries, storytelling, music and some of the city's most iconic locations, combining experiences at sea, narrative walks and musical events.

Programme

  • 18 "Stories of Naples from the Sea" sailing tours aboard a galleon with writer and popular historian Amedeo Colella.
  • 10 Naples Crime ToursNaples: Crimes and Secrets Through the City's Streets.
  • "Enchanted Notes", the traditional dawn concert on Ferragosto (15 August), held on the panoramic terrace of Sant'Antonio a Posillipo.

Stories of Naples from the Sea

The programme includes 18 guided tours aboard a traditional galleon, following two itineraries:

  • Otium – Posillipo and its Leisure Villas
  • Negotium – Industry from Vigliena to Pietrarsa

On board, alongside a licensed tourist guide presenting the history of the places visited, writer and cultural communicator Amedeo Colella, in his well-known role as 'O Prufessore, will transform the voyage into a captivating storytelling experience, sharing anecdotes about the Neapolitan language, gastronomy and the maritime culture of Naples.

Naples Crime Tours

Curated by Ciro Sabatino, the Naples Crime Tours feature five themed itineraries across ten guided walks, taking place on Saturday and Sunday mornings from 10:00 am to 12:00 noon, from 5 September to 4 October.

Having previously explored the settings associated with the pioneers of Neapolitan crime fiction and the locations linked to the city's celebrated crime-writing tradition, this fourth edition turns its attention to real-life criminal cases and crime literature, revealing new cultural perspectives and layers of Naples' historical memory through unusual and intriguing viewpoints.

Enchanted Notes

A captivating dawn concert on Ferragosto (15 August), performed on the panoramic terrace of Sant'Antonio a Posillipo.

    _ Free of charge
    _ To reach the panoramic terrace, the Department of Tourism and Productive Activities of the Municipality of Naples provides two complimentary shuttle buses, departing at 4:00 am from Via Brin and Piazza Municipio.
    _ Seats on the shuttle buses must be reserved via Eventbrite.
