Vespero Napoletano - 2026 Edition

The Slow Tourism Festival returns to Naples.

Default

Now in its third edition, the festival brings a city-wide programme of walks, performances, concerts, workshops and experiences dedicated to culture, nature and discovering the local area.

The cultural initiative invites residents and visitors to rediscover Naples through a different way of experiencing the city: taking the time to let places tell their stories and placing local communities, neighbourhoods and the city’s wider cultural heritage at the heart of the experience. In doing so, it promotes a model of tourism rooted in the local area, its identity and the organisations that help bring it to life every day, encouraging a broader, more participatory understanding of Naples with a strong focus on the quality of the visitor experience.

Slow tourism thus becomes a way to discover Naples at a more leisurely pace, making time to observe, listen and meet the people who experience these places every day. The festival combines the promotion of the local area with participation and a high-quality urban experience, continuing the journey begun with previous editions.

On weekends throughout September and October, the programme features storytelling walks, guided tours, concerts, theatre performances, workshops, photography, outdoor activities and events exploring the history and collective memory of Naples, involving different neighbourhoods, audiences and local associations.
