From 23 October 2026 to 31 January 2027, the Museum and Royal Park of Capodimonte presents Atlas Partenope, an exhibition by Andrea Fogli, curated by Vincenzo Stanziola, exploring the rich world of images, rituals and symbols that permeate Neapolitan culture.
The first, previously unseen chapter of the Atlas of Devotions, the project explores the city's unique relationship with the sacred and everyday life, weaving together myths, popular traditions, religious figures and contemporary influences.
Through charcoal drawings, repainted devotional cards and postcards, sculptures and installations, the artist reinterprets images deeply rooted in the city's collective memory. At the heart of the exhibition, ten polyptychs evoke the people, places and symbols of Naples, from Mount Vesuvius to Pulcinella, from images of the Madonna to the capuzzelle, the skulls traditionally associated with the Neapolitan cult of the souls in Purgatory.
An opportunity to discover Naples through a distinctive artistic perspective, where past and present, reality and imagination come together.
